Bamboo Wood Surfaces
There are many important factors to consider about choosing bamboo for your
flooring surface. One important thing to consider is the hardness of the floor.
This is very important. Carbonized bamboo is darker than non-carbonized bamboo
in color but is also much softer. The non-carbonized natural bamboo flooring
is lighter in color and a much harder surface. This makes it more resistant to
dents and scratches than carbonized bamboo. This natural flooring surface is
very popular with environmentally conscious consumers and is also very pleasing
to the eye. Bamboo is quite slippery to walk on, so it is important to treat
bamboo floors for safety purposes.
