Acrylic BathtubsAcrylic bathtubs are created when sheets of acrylic are fired at high temperatures, molded, toughened with fiberglass and reinforced with metal or wood. They are available in a wide variety of shapes, colors and styles. Acrylic bathtubs are lighter than iron or steel bathtubs, yet have a similar high-gloss surface similar to porcelain and enamel bathtubs. This smooth surface can be slippery, especially when wet. We recommend the following product to help make your acrylic bathtub more slip resistant. slippery.
